Kiosks
Access to the Internet keeps getting easier at UW-Madison as new
Internet "Kiosks" are added, providing convenient access
to the Web and email for the campus community and visitors.
The kiosks, located around campus, include Sun Ray terminals, iMac and PC computers. Users can check their My UW-Madison page, find information on the Internet, or access Web-based email without having to go to an office, residence or computer lab. The kiosks have no disk storage, but anyone can use them.
Accessibilty
A number of features are enabled on the kiosks for users with disabilities including full keyboard access, adjustable keyboard settings and adjustable font size, style and color capabilities.
Sun Ray Kiosks have Mozilla and AccessX installed on them. AccessX can be activated by right clicking on the desktop. This will let you use accessibility options like sticky keys and mouse keys.
PC Kiosks include the standard Windows accesibility functions
