OFFSET PRINTING

Overview

Our Offset Printing Department is a full-service, in-house printing facility. Digital Publishing & Printing Services is the largest offset printing operation within the State of Wisconsin government. We print a variety of different materials including brochures, envelopes, newsletters, letterheads, saddle-stitched booklets, carbonless forms and perfect bound books.

Located at 30 N. Murray Street, we are a fully staffed customer service department, a digital prepress department, six offset presses and a complete bindery department.

Digital Print Ready Files

Our specialty is one and two color offset printing formatted up to 17" x 22". While we still support camera-ready art, your project will be processed more cost efficiently by providing digital print ready files.

Computer to Plate System

University of Wisconsin, Digital Digital Publishing & Printing Services offers a new service, Computer to Plate, (CTP)! We've added the Mitsubishi SDP-Alpha2500V Platesetter to our 30 N. Murray St., Preprint Department.

The new CTP system has the capability to image metal plates for our largest press. We now offer high quality cutting edge technology at an affordable price by eliminating conventional film setting and expensive darkroom processes. You will now receive digital color proofs when ordering color printing. The color proofs are very helpful in determining what your finished project will truly look like.
