Configuring your Email Client
Your WiscMail account is one that has an address ending in:
- wisc.edu
The following address formats are valid alternate addresses for some older accounts:
- wiscmail.wisc.edu
- students.wisc.edu
- facstaff.wisc.edu
Each WiscMail account has a Spam filter turned on by default. These messages are filtered out of the Inbox into a Junk Mail folder on the server, so a client's spam filters are not necessary. For more information on filters, you can view the following page: Message Filtering/Anti-Spam
